At the core of the Superstar's renowned, enjoyable handling is a subtle curvature at the steerer end of the top tube. This design enables the head tube to maintain a consistent relationship with the ground, even when encountering strong vertical forces, such as uneven road surfaces or a sudden acceleration out of the saddle. These forces, which often lead to deformation of the wheelbase, are effectively mitigated. The outcome is an enhanced level of control and predictability for the bike, especially under stress.
